Olympus is having a photo contest this month, and the winner gets a $100 American Express gift card! But, I have a dilemma...I don't know which picture to enter!! cherish the simple things...

My friend Evelyn threw a "Stamp It Up!" party last Saturday, and I absolutely LOVE the cards we made! The one above is my favorite. :)

I also love how we were able to pick our word; I chose "Simple". I love the part in the description: "Joy in the little things...". Lately, I have become more and more fond of the simple, little things, like: a really cute, sweet dress; a long, warm hug; some snuggle time with my baby- the list goes on. I think the warm weather has definitely been helping too. :)

I hope you find time in your busy life-style and schedule to just stop...and cherish the simple things.

I need to dwell on the important things; things I will see again in Heaven. I tend to dwell on the un-important; like school and my social life (not saying those things aren't important, just not the most important). I need to pray to God that what I find important, He also finds important. What I like, He likes. What/whom I love, He loves.

Speaking of love, please (whoever might be reading this) pray for my friend, Holly. She's going through a difficult time in her life involving her parents. I'm "allowed" to correspond with her via letters, but it's still hard not being able to talk to someone you care about for so long. Please pray, she really needs it.
