Holly + clay + cakes = fun!

Holly slept over at my house last night, and we had a blast! We made A LOT of clay cuties for my cake, and Holly made the most adorable fish bowl cake (I will be taking pics of it and all the other cakes at presentation night). I had so much fun.

Turns out, I'm going to be the MC at presentation night. Fun! I'm a little nervous, but it should be a blast. I have a cake to enter, a performance to do, AND emceeing! One busy little beaver. It should all be so much fun, I can't wait! I'll let you know how everything turns out! Happy Saturday! :)

clay cuties!

Holly and I are making a cake together for our home school group's presentation night, so we got together today and practiced our clay work (we are doing an undersea theme). I thought these turned out adorable! Holly made the pink and yellow, and purple and blue fish; and i made the turtle, clown fish and the green fish (I call him Mike Wazowski from Monster's Inc. in fish form). Holly and I will get together over the weekend and make the gumpaste versions for the cake. I'll let you know how they turn out! :)

flower fun

My parent's anniversary was April 19th, and my Dad got a bouquet or roses for my Mom (obviously). There were a couple left so we put one in a small vase for my Sister. I took it outside and got a few pics. Then...the fun began! I like to edit some of my pics on the computer, especially flowers (they seem to cooperate more-so than others). So I had some fun making these. Happy Wednesday! :)

better

I'm feeling SO much better than I was earlier. I got to hang out with my BFF Brittany, and my lovely friend Holly. If you're ever having a bad day, just go spend a few hours with one of these wonderful ladies. They'll lighten up anyone's mood. Hope your day was lovely! :)

a little annoyed

Have you ever had one of those days where you just want to punch someone? Yeah, today has been like that. This is when I want to be involved in a contact sport of some sort. :) *sigh* I just need to pray for peace, patience, and ability to love even when it's almost impossible. I can't let a GORGEOUS day like this go to waste! Hope you have a wonderful day! :)

1Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called,
2with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, 3being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling;
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

all nighter!

Last night, we had an all-nighter movie night at the Cleath's. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures. :( But let me say, it was a BLAST! Surprisingly, I didn't fall asleep once! I was amazed! Yet then, of course, I got home and fell right into bed. Time of awakening?.....2:00pm! So now I'm refreshed and ready for the rest of the week (hopefully I can get some pictures too). Hope your spring break is going well! :)

Easter Sunday

Yesterday, Mom, Dad, and I went hiking on the Bluff's trail in Montana De Oro. We saw SO much wildlife! It was a lot of fun. Hope you all had a great Easter! :)

Mark 16

The Resurrection
1When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they might come and anoint Him.

2Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.

3They were saying to one another, "Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?"

4Looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, although it was extremely large.

5Entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at the right, wearing a white robe; and they were amazed.

6And he said to them, "Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him.

7"But go, tell His disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see Him, just as He told you.'"

8They went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had gripped them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

9Now after He had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons.

10She went and reported to those who had been with Him, while they were mourning and weeping.

11When they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they refused to believe it.

12After that, He appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking along on their way to the country.

13They went away and reported it to the others, but they did not believe them either.

The Disciples Commissioned
14Afterward He appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He reproached them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen.

15And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

16"He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.

17"These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;

18they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

19So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

20And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.] [And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions. And after that, Jesus Himself sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation.]
