tri-masquerade!...

CPSalsa put on the Tri-Masquerade yesterday...really, really fun! Salsa, Blues, and West Coast Swing all in one auditorium. Can you say insanity?! :)

full of thought...

I've been thinking about a lot recently; the future, getting a job, school, my social life, etc. But one thought has definitely stuck out: where's God been?

You know how you wish your relationship with God could be, well, perfect? Always growing? Well, it just doesn't happen.

Your relationship with God looks like a heart rate monitor when someone's having a heart attack...it's chaotic, crazy, uncontrollable, and unpredictable. It never has a steady, increasing rate. It jumps. It has it's highs and lows, and right now, I'm in a low zone.

I need to stop and just think. Think about all the plans God has in store for me. Think about how much I need Him every hour of everyday. I need to pray and meditate on the Word. I need to prepare my heart for growth, my mind for wisdom, and my soul for love.

I need to stop...and just think.

madonna madness...

I FINALLY remembered to take my camera to Madonna Inn on Monday to try and get some swing pics! I took a total of 47 photos...only about 10 actually look like people are dancing (the rest just look like blur blobs). Oh Well, I did my best. :)

new year's eve 09...

My New Years Eve was CRAZY!

• 10:00AM-Went to physical therapy.
• 11:00AM-Went home, then straight to San Simeon.
• 5:00PM-Arrived home, packed my stuff for Sarah P.'s house, then left for the Cleath's.
• 12:15AM-Left the Cleath's, arrived at Sarah P.'s.
• 6:00AM-Finally went to bed.
• 2:30PM-Went home after a very long day.
